When a message spreads through a groundswell of growth, it becomes more than just a message—it becomes a movement. While podcasts and memoirs like to highlight the serendipitous times this happens by chance, I like to systemize and accelerate it.

In 2018, I began helping businesses grow through what I called accelerated word-of-mouth marketing. I’ve since worked with King of Pops, South Dwntn, Georgia Pecans, and TrekAI, helping build and implement hacky growth strategies. In 2021, I joined then-client Same Page HR as a partner and currently lead this fractional HR business alongside Matt Tanner (King of Pops, MailChimp, Full Story).

I’m often asked if there is a silver bullet when it comes to marketing. Generally those asking this imagine a big publicity spot or a perfectly crafted campaign, leading to exponential growth and smooth sailing. But my answer? The closest thing to a silver bullet in the marketing world is something everyone wants to talk about.
